emma charlotte hawley has arrived

well folks, as the title explains, Emma has arrived. A little overdue and over cooked, but none the less perfect in every way.
She was born at 12:46pm on monday 20th Novememer 2006, weighing in at a massive 9lb 13oz!!!! This came as something of a shock for both parents, but obviously a lot more of a shock for Rachael who had to do all the work in getting her out.
Mother and baby are both fantastic, Ollie seems somewhat unsure of the situation as yet, but I am sure he will be letting us know just how he feels in the next few days. Rachael is still in hospital with Emma and I have popped home to get some pictures uploaded onto this blog thingymabob. Rachael I am sure will give everybody a complete rundown of things, I will just be uploading a few photos for all to see.

So enough yapping from a very proud father of two....and here are the photos from today:

The Stott family think that their new cousin Emma is absolutely beautiful. Well done Uncle Adam for the X chromosone and well done Aunty Rachael for growing such a beautiful BIG baby girl. We love you all. Give Ollie a kiss for us and of course Emma too. Ellie says to Ollie that it is nice and fun being a big brother/sister so not to worry Ollie.
All our love Katey, David, Ellie, Noah and baby bump!!

Just whatI like to see - a baby with rolls everywhere!!! When we were saying our prayers every night to look after the tiny baby in aunty Rachael's tummy please help it to grow big strong and healthy - we didn't actually mean that big!! I'm beginning to think that these big babies are not a result of the Halligans but more of the Shipton genes!!! Blame the men!!
Hope that the night went well. I will talk to you soon!
Love ya Kate

Congratulations to you all and well done to Rachael - that must have smarted a little bit.

Hope you are all well and that life finds its own routine soon.

From our experience little sisters are just what every older brother needs!!!!! Even though they don't always feel that.

Big love to you all
